Ensō

Not feeling my best I stayed home from school today. I precticed drawing the Ensō, the zen circle, over and over again on the newspaper.

In Zen Buddhist painting ensō symbolizes a moment when the mind is free to simply create, and, drawn with ink, it is not possible to modify. Zen Buddhists believe that your character is fully exposed in how you draw an ensō.
